“Repent” is a narrative-driven music video that tells the story of a small-town Catholic son who witnesses the abuse of his mother by the hands of his father. The project has amassed more than 500,000 views.
This film was the winner of “Music Video of the Year” at the 2022 Saskatchewan Music Awards. It was also nominated for “Best Music Video” and won “Best Performance” (Elaine Striemer) at the 2022 Saskatchewan Independent Film Awards.
